Astrology &
Tarot

Option 1: Astrology and Tarot readings are available as unique sessions.

Option 2: If you are pursuing personal therapy, we can incorporate your birth chart and/or tarot into your sessions upon request.

Many who desire to explore their psyche find the archetypes and powerful art in tarot and astrology to be supportive, similar to the way people find jungian and art therapy healing.

Astrology:

I take the approach that our souls/higher selves choose our specific astrological placements to help us accomplish our soul's purpose in this lifetime. That we choose to come in with specific gifts to help us on our journey, and with specific lessons/challenges we want to learn and grow through. I specialize in looking at your birth chart to see where the struggles that brought you to seek my assistance are showing up in your natal chart. I find that locating it in the chart helps us rapidly pinpoint what is going on that may not be completely obvious at first. As we continue to work together, we dive further into your what felt alive in your chart, through process, depth, and somatic work.

Tarot:

I use tarot to do divination work (asking spirit for insight through the cards), as well as a tool to access healing archetypes and energies. Sometimes a client feels called for a reading, while other times it can be helpful to look at the cards and see if one resonates with you. Tarot is a language of universal experiences. It is healing to know other societies and generations have gone through something you have, see how they depicted it, and learn about the spiritual meaning it brought them.

What I don't offer:

I don't do predictive astrology or look at the future. I only look at birth (natal) charts.

I don't do readings that involve other people's energy without the explicit consent of that person. For example, I will not ask spirit about an ex coming back, or the future of a current relationship because that would involve tapping into another person's energy. However, I can ask what is the best way for you to move through your relationship for your highest good, and the collective's highest good. The most effective readings focus on you.

What Astrological Systems Do You Use?

Natal Astrology:

Natal astrology shows us where the planets were in relation to the zodiac and your birth location. It can be insightful to look at what energies and archetypes were at play when you were born, and to see if they are related to anything you are experiencing today.

*I view natal charts through a tropical lens using the Campanus house system.

Tropical Western Astrology:

Composed of the Zodiac: The zodiac are a series of constellations that approximately line up with the ecliptic (the annual path the earth take around the sun), and the 12 lunar cycles of the year, beginning in the Spring with Aries. When someone says you have a planet in a sign, it means that if we viewed that planet from your birth location at the time you were born, that planet lined up with the slice of the sky that is ruled by that constellation.

Zodiac Signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces

Placements I look at in your chart:

Inner Planets

Sun: Your core personality, or who you are evolving to become.

Mercury: How you think and communicate.

Venus: What you value, and what you're attracted to. How you express your divine feminine energy.

Mars: What motivates you. How you express your divine masculine energy.

Jupiter: What creates expansion, and brings you luck. What becomes magnified in your life.

Lunar Placements:

Moon: Your emotional needs

Lilith (Black Moon Lilith): Shadow side of your emotional needs, deepest sexual desires

North and South Nodes: Past life

Asteroids:

Chiron: Your core wounding

Juno: What you need in a masculine marriage partner

Vesta: The sacred fire you tend to (or what you desire in a feminine marriage partner)

Ceres: What comforts you

Pallas: Your genius/wisdom (think Athena vibes, rather than your Mercury which is associated with Hermes)
